Kinda Down

Internet drama - AKA good grief but Lord of the Flies was right about people when their identities are hidden- peeps leaving good ship MattMo (not me!) post-convetion come down, sharing an office with angry/miserable/depressed people.

Next time I get a T-shirt printed (I'm thinking Stormtrooper!Matt as above) I might ask if they'll throw in one with 'Step away from the anon meme with your hands above your head'.

So I'm a little down. I'm also behind on my essay writing course so I have to do that this morning rather than cheer myself up with some writing. Because, believe it or not, writing is how I relax and dump out all my stress. Even fic with people battering each other emotionally. Possibly not the uncomfortable Non-con that just keeps getting more uncomfortable. Might crack on with Ruling in Hell and one of Alicebluegown's requests instead.

Ah well. I have 'completely pwns my lame Mohinder kidnaps Matt' fic to look forward to. And I really am looking forward to it :) Because even though I'm down, I'm still kinda evil Bwahaha. Ahem.

The idea is that you put your name down and people give you anonymous feedback so that they can be completely honest. The problem being that total anonymity seems to give people license to say things they would never dream of saying if there was any chance of comeback.

Now personally I wouldn't put my name down for something like if you paid me. I have no illusions on my ability to take criticism (ie, none) but lots of people are obviously far braver than I am.
