Sorry for the lack of fic the past couple of weeks. I've been busy with Heroes Big Boom and now the Matt-a-thon but I'm hopeful I'll think of something small and fun I can post soon :)

Hey peeps,

I'm hoping for two pieces of help:

1) Some prompts for a short fic. Matt/prompter's choice.

2) Would anyone be willing to look at a couple of verrrry old stories written for a previous fandom? I'm trying to work out if they're salvageable to use as a base for something else.

Supposedly there are seven basic plots in literature:

The Quest
Voyage and Return
Rebirth
Comedy
Tragedy
Overcoming the moster
Rags to Riches

So I'm wondering what the basic plots of fic are. These are what I've got:

Hurt/Comfort (Self explanatory)
Domestic Waff (Not much happens, but it's all very warm and comfy)
He hates me/I hate him (The couple meets and they hate each other at first sight. Ahh but then...)

Anyone got any others?

I have 5 fics to post between the 19th and the 28th of December.

1 birthday fic on the 19th
1 birthday fic on the 28th
3 Christmas fics.

So, would people rather have the three fics between Christmas Eve and Boxing Day (26th December), all on Christmas Day, or more spread out?

Ask me a question about one of my stories, or about my writing in general. It can be absolutely anything in any fic, and I will answer you as honestly as I possibly can. Don’t hold back. Ask about my plans for future parts of a current series if you want to, or progress on something in progress that you've gotten an early peek at; just keep in mind that I may not have anything firm/definite in the works. Anything. Whatever you ask, I will try my best to answer.

How it should be done:

1. Visit the master list and pick your favorite one hundred.
2. Post behind an LJ cut.
3. Your f-list's job is write you "comment pr0n" for your favorites, if they feel so moved and inspired. (Or pick a few numbers and challenge yourself!)

And if you wanna do that then hurrah. But instead, I've ganked all the kinks I like/will write from the master list and put them below. Bold are my button pushers, non-bold are ones I'll write.

You mission should you choose to accept... pick no less than 5 from the list and give me a prompt/request.

I'm about to do my epilogue for Ruling in Hell. Yikes. Not sure if I should do a month later, six months, a couple of years all of them or what. Do not know what to do :( Paralysed by fic ending fear.

It aims to be the ultimate antidote to Nano, with three weeks of short stories (100-2000 words) of the sci-fi and fantasy kind, whether they be fanfiction or original works. The sort of stories you can curl up on the sofa with, while the weather does its worst outside, and can finish reading before your tea goes cold and your biscuit goes soggy in the saucer.

Heroes Anon Prompts is now live. It’s a place for Heroes fiction prompts to be left and answered anonymously—all pairings and types of fic are welcomed. So far there’s a number of posts with character names; reply to one of them to make a fiction request. To pick up a prompt, just reply in the comments.

I've had a community for like, 12 hours, and I'll already had to go back and change things about 40 times. And that includes the 7 hours I was asleep!

Apparently you can't do a post out of order on a comm BUT the template we have has a sticky post section, score! Now if only I could stop editing the damn thing.

I think, I think, that I've maybe finally got it. I've nearly finished Endgame (final Toxic verse story) and I've been worrying and fettling at the ending. It originally seemed such a good idea and then I started writing 'fixed' Mohinder and it suddenly seemed wrong. My fragile ego doesn't help because I don't want to muck it up. I don't feel I can go 'pleugh! Stupid ending' and post it anyway, as has been known to happen, heh. It's been surprisingly well received - despite my best ficfriend's reaction to 'Doll Eyes' being 'What have you do to them???' Or words to that effect. ;) So, fingers crossed that it will still seem like a good idea when I get it down onto the laptop.

Edited because 'Down' and 'Town' are NOT the same.
