Assigning prompts


I thought it would be best to try this on 'kink meme' style rules. Have a look at the prompts below and leave a comment saying which you are going to write. The reason for this mostly because everyone's had a chance to see the prompts and maybe mentally decide they really want those ones and definitely not that one. This way nobody hopefully will go, 'Oh NO!' :) 

All comments will be screened. This is to keep both a nice element of surprise for recipients and so nobody frets if their prompt doesn't immediately get snapped up.

If you'd rather be assigned a prompt or prompts that's fine, just let me know.

There will some duplication of prompts this way but since we all have vastly different styles I'm sure that the stories will vary hugely from each other. If you do not want to write a duplicate prompt leave a comment with the prompts you want and I'll let you know if someone else has already picked them.

Please leave a comment with your choice of prompt or prompts by Monday 12:01 am GMT. Any prompts that haven't already been snapped up will be divided by myself and boudecia7 , and anyone else who wants another prompt or prompt.

Please only claim prompts you know you will write so that we can plan our time to cover the others. If you want to come back after Monday 12:01 am and do extra prompts that's fine but you will be writing a duplicate prompt. However, if for whatever reason you cannot complete your fic please let us know as soon as possible. Stuff happens to get in the way, please just let us know so that we can cover the prompt.

Wow that's a lot of bold in that paragraph.


Writing

All fics should be a minimum of 1000 words long with no maximum. Please warn for for the usual things like spoilers, explicit sex/violence, or naked Bob and make sure you meet the spec of the prompt :) 

If you want to write anonymously, then drop me a PM and I'll send you my email address. Send me your fic when it's done and I'll post it for you on comms and my journal.


Posting

Please post your stories to your journals and relevant comms on Valentine's Day. Leave a comment here with the link and I'll let the prompter know where they can find their fic :) I'll also pull together an index with everything on it so people can browse the Matt-a-thon.

The Prompts:

Matt/Adam

A Matt/Adam fic where Matt is the gruff yet lusty caretaker or game keeper of an estate recently inherited by Lord Monroe. Kind of a gay version of Lady Chatterly's Lover.

 

Matt/Angela

Sequel to Mrs Robinson

Some kind of jealousy story, where Matt and Noah Bennet are kind of rivals? I mean, like they both want her - and of course, it could end however you wish! (Maybe she wants neither of them in the end? Or maybe she likes to have both of them? Maybe both of them decides that they really don't want her after all?...) Crack fic or drama? It's up to you.
 
And for the drawings... why not young Matt/Angela... that would be nice. :)


Matt/Gabriel

Gabriel is rehabilitated from being Sylar and “The Company” has put Matt in charge of making sure that Gabriel doesn’t turn back into Sylar. So, they have to spend a lot of time together. Gabriel is back to his old ways and works on watches and wears sweater vests and whatnot.Gabriel wants to make good with Matt. But not only does he want to make up for the bad things he has done to Matt he also has a HUGE crush on him. He has it so bad for Matt that whenever Matt is around he gets flustered and stutters and just acts adorably geeky around Matt. Bonus points if Janice or Mohinder are around to make comments to Matt about Gabriel’s obvious crush :D


Matt/Janice 

A Matt fic where he picks up Molly from India and moves her in with Janice, Baby Parkman and himself.

Matt/Mohinder

Mohinder travels to the future (for some reason) and gets it on with a 50 year old Matt. Matt and Mohinder are still together in the future, but Future!Mohinder is out on a business trip so Matt is alone and when Present!Mo shows up things happen :D And Matt would still be phenomenal in bed, have grey hair and be prone to leg cramps. :P And when Mohinder goes back to the present he is all lovey dovey with his Present!Matt because he sees in the future they are still madly in love.

A wing!fic

A genderbender, featuring a female Mohinder either an AU with Mohinder having always been a woman or a story where he gets turned into a woman by way of a messed up formula/ability. Brownie points if it's set during Valentine's day. 

Matt/Mohinder AU where Mohinder is the prime suspect in a crime Matt is investigating, where Matt is the only one who thinks Mohinder might be a pawn in someone else's game (the Company's? Sylar's? omg, bonus points for some sort of Mylar. Things get worse when Mohinder keeps inadvertently incriminating himself...

Rich!successful!badass!Matt/Mohinder with BFF!Nathan/Matt (or some sort of friendship) where Matt and Nathan are powerful business tycoons and Mohinder is a lawyer about to sue Matt's company for millions. Of course, Matt can't let that happen... 

 


Matt/Nathan

Matt brings out the fun snarky side of Nathan (let's pretend that the whole death thing never happened, an opposites attract kind of thing.

Matt/Peter

Vague S2, Matt's fresh off his separation/divorce from Janice (the show was never clear on that...) and Peter is fresh off his relationship with Adam (after discovering he was trying to kill everyone). A little rebound action for both of them, wanting to try something very different than anything they've done before.

Matt/Peter as roommates instead of Matt and Mohinder. As a cop and a EMT they both have stressful jobs and after a particularly horrendous day for them both they go to a bar to unwind after work. One thing leads to another and they wind up in bed together. At first they tell themselves it was just stress relieving, recreational sex and it will never happen again. Then they tell themselves when it does happen again ok, we're just fuck buddies we can handle this..it's no big deal. Of course "we're just fuck buddies" doesn't last very long before they're the real thing.
 
I love the idea of Matt as a big, well respected Dom. I'd love for him to be paired with Peter as his sub because of the huge physical contrast- manly, powerful Matt v slender, pretty Pete - size kink!!! The scenario could involve them going to a club and both having to fend off admirers (your choice as to who amongst the cast gets to cameo here and which ones are bottoms and tops!), ultimately ending in someone challenging Matt for (or maybe just forcibly trying to remove) Peter, and Matt kicking the other dom's ass. In short: top!Matt is love. Ooh, and could he be wearing a [business] suit? And Peter, uh, not very much?

Matt/Various

Basically, Matt's juggling a whooooole lotta guys - Mohinder, Peter, Luke, Sylar/Gabriel... hell, maybe some girls. I mean, the man has a full schedule and they all need different things from him (like Mohinder needs someone to ground him and Peter needs someone who will empathise with him and Luke needs someone to take control and idk, Gabriel needs a spanking? Whatever.) Except sometimes, they all need him at once, which is when things get a little stressful. Easiest solution: ORGY! WHOO!

Other

Basically a fic about Matt being a monkey. As a child, with Molly, whatever. Bonus points if it talks about Matt being a monkey in bed with Mohinder.*NB not a literal monkey. Jumping around on the furniture etc.

Awkwardness and hilarity - Matt telepathically feeds Peter lines to woo Mohinder (since he knows Mohinder so well, and all). Extra points for Mohinder being Peter's first boy-crush and Matt having no idea how to handle it. Super points for past Matt/Mohinder slash :)
 
Something in the style of 'Hardboiled.'

Gen

Matt raises Molly as a single Dad - and does a fine damn job, possibly as he tries to deal with his gay. (No ship needed but this lesbian sees a lot of damn gay closeted male there, yo, and it makes my gay heart break.) Just this would make me stupid giddy happy, okay, I NEED HIM TO BE HAPPY WITH HIS KID, ♥ 

Season 2 Nathan and Matt friendship ^ ^ its rare to find these days. Things like Nathan getting drunk and crashing on Matt and Mohinder's sofa and talking about their dysfunctional families and such. Any Matt/Mohinder reference is a bonus

A really cracky buddy comedy type thing involving Matt and HRG that would be great. Funny appearances from as many other people as possible would be appreciated, but please no Peter or Claire bashing where they are just stupid, I don't like that.
