Is the Western fic going to in the same vein as Deadwood? Bawdy and fun yet at the same time full of angst punctuated with with the occasional act of senseless violence?

I'm still at early planning stages because I've not done one before but yeah that's my general hope. I really like Deadwood and I think there's a lot more to get from that kind of approach.

I think that Deadwood got a raw deal. If HBO and the producers of the show had ironed out thier differences it'd still be on the air.

Definitely agree there, such a shame. Mind you 'Profit' was cancelled after 4 or 6 episodes but if they made it now it'd be huge I'm sure.
