ETA LJ ate my explaination the first time around and I didn't notice. AAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGHH.

Ahem.

Kethni is a totally made up name. It's actually from a Lord of the Flies style sci-fi story I was writing about 10 years ago. She was an alien I think. When I first got online about 15 years ago (I've been online half my life, cool!) everyone was massively paranoid about people using the internet to stalk you and all that, so I had about 3 different usernames. I've been using Kethni exclusively for about 10 years I think.

I actually have a relatively rare real name - I've never met anyone with the same name, nobody I've ever met has ever heard of anyone with the same name, let alone the same spelling - so it's probably best I use Kethni. When I meet up with the Craig/Luke girls I actually answer to Kethni, which amuses my family no end. Oh, or Kethers - which seems to be the affectionate version of Kethni.

Hee, i asked this question a while back one night when I was bored, and got a ton of awesome answers, so hopefully it'll happen again and a bunch of new people will spill the dirt. Mine's nothing spectacular, I just kind of get off on the story of Boudica. When I first created a username for Yahoo or something like that, someone else already had it so I used an alternate spelling and just kept it when I moved to LJ. And 7 is my favorite number for some reason. :P

But now you have to do yours!
