I'd be really grateful for some prompts, suggestions, ideas, what-have-you for a one-off halloween story. Werewolves, vampires, ghosts, witch/wizards and any other creatures of the night are welcome. Sexy, scary, or funny (or something else) all great.

Thanks!

Adam or Claire is eaten by zombies but they keep growing back. Torture or crack.

Ghosts of all the dead Heroes characters start showing up on Halloween night to bother the living cast.

Matt the Vampire Slayer.

Chandra Suresh and Sylar as Frankenstein and his monster. :D

:bows before you:

These are all awesome but 'Matt the Vampire Slayer' is such a fantastic idea :D Mohinder would make a cracking Watcher.

I actually started a Frankenstein one a while back but there was no way I'd have finished it in time. Wasn't Chandra and Sylar although those are definitely the best match for theme.

YES PLZ! to Frankenstein!Sylar and the ghost story!

I think it'd be neat to see one of those urban legend campfire stories recast with Heroes peeps - hookhanded maniacs chasing them through the woods and such. The creepier the better.

Or mad scientist Mohinder doing a Jekyll/Hyde thing? Or Matt & Sylar becoming Jekyll& Hyde in Matt's body?

Something Lovecraftian? CG's Poe fic kicked ass last year and I'd love to something similar with Lovecraft.

The urban legend idea sounds fun :) I'll have to look into some.

It's ages since I read Jekyll & Hyde, I'll have to brush up. I've never read any Lovecraft though, the closest I've ever come is the Discworld parodies :)

I like 'Matt Vampire Slayer' but how about Matt as a half- vampire who hunts down other vamps similar to Blade. Mohinder as his 'Whistler' keeping him from going all vamp with a synthetic blood compound.

I've not seen Blade but I do like the 'have your cake and eat it' of being partly a vampire and a slayer :D Is Whistler like a Watcher or does he work for Blade?

He works with Blade as kind of mentor/father figure but that wouldn't work with Matt and Mohinder.

Perhaps Mohinder tries to cure Matt but the treatment is only partially sucessful. Making him half a vampire giving him many of thier strenghts but none of thier weaknesses execpt for the need to drink blood. That's were the synthetic blood comes in.

I *really* like the idea of Matt having some physical need or weakness that Mohinder helps him control :D

you can always follow my story in 'the bill' and do full-moon werewolves!
is an AU type story? or fit into the established universe? someone could have a scary ability or something

I'm thinking of doing a story where a bunch of people tell each other scary stories :) So to vary extents AU, yeah. But a scary ability is a fun idea, maybe for the wrap around idea.

Matt dresses up as the Incredible Hulk Mohinder get's a little happy applying the body paint. But after the party to Matt's horror it doesn't come off so easily neither does the dye in his hair.

This sounds somewhat autobiographical to me :P
(I guess much washing and scrubbing would be required, yes?)

It's somewhat auto biographical back in high school had some face paint put on for a dare only to find out it doesn't come off as easy as advertised in fact it left a lingering stain that took several days to wear off.

Oof! How awful!

(We had a customer complaining that used CAR wax on their hair 'because wax is wax' and couldn't get it off. Well no, it's designed not to come off...)
