Writer's Block: Close Call

[Error: unknown template qotd]I used to work in a lab and about ten feet away there was a test oven for petrol cans. You fill the petrol can with petrol and put it in the oven for about 45 minutes. If the seams on the can aren't strong the petrol expands and the can blows. The explosion *should* stay within the oven. Except it didn't - the petrol can exploded blowing the oven door clean off and blasting petrol everywhere. The door landed about a foot away and petrol splattered pretty much everywhere except where I was sat.
