From
kel_reileyComment to this post and I will give you five subjects/things I associate with you. Then post this to your LJ and elaborate on the subjects given. 1.
Grunny!
My current boytoy, lol. The nice thing about following an actor who's doing/done pretty well is that it's much easier to buy DVDs of the stuff they've done! I actually have a little cupboard on the telly unit that's just Grunny DVDs, Felicity (Region 1 because we never here and it's not available), Heroes (duh!), House, Monk (which I love anyway), The Darkroom (eviiiiil!Grunny!), Hollow Man, BaseKetball, Connie and Carla bitchy Grunny). I even have his Melrose place episode. The Diagnosis Murder is ep is on the Tivo though. Oh, and Condemned: Criminal Origins is around somewhere. I had to stop playing that because I was laughing too hard. It wasn't supposed to be funny but the stuff that happens to his character is SO Matt Parkman it's untrue.
2.
Gilmore! The Bill was the first fandom I ever wrote for. Technically I guess Craig/Luke wasn't slash as it was canon. It was one of the worst ever handled canon relationships/coming out stories of all time mind you. I reckon 80% of the slash ppl wrote was trying to fix it! It got me into writing on a more regular basis though, met lots of people, had a lot of fun. There's a massive difference between the stuff I wrote at first and the stories I was doing by the end. Plots and OC's and lots of spoofs :P
3.
awesome redheads! Mad_jaks is awesome, you're right :D It was very funny when she came to stay because Fatboy clearly didn't believe me when I described her as looking like 'my older sister, if I had one'. Changed his mind when he met her.
4.
Manchester accents (not sure how yours is, but i kinda love them) My accent is r
egrettably VERY similar to Christopher Eccleston's. All you Claude or Ninth Doctor fans, that's close enough to my accent that people from outside Manchester wouldn't be able to tell the difference. He's from Salford which is about 10 miles away from me. Nongeekygirl's sister went to drama school with him. It's also fairly similar to Ciaran Griffiths/Gary Best. Boo! Not very sexy as accents go.5.
The Real Office - aka adventures with Ralf (how we miss him!)
Did I tell you, a couple of weeks after he got sacked he emailed me and told me he'd just fallen in the Manchester canal? It's a HUGE waterway! They have canal boats on it. I asked him how he'd managed that and he said he'd walked out across it when it was frozen, to take photographs, and fallen through the ice. Ladies and gents a health and safety professional in action. The office isn't the same without the regular 'thump!' 'Ow!' of him slamming some body part or other.
