Hey guys, Here's the schedule although as always it may be subject to minor changes. I'll update it with names and links as I get them. We've tried to arrange a variety of pairings and genres each day, although a couple of lucky prompters have had their prompts filled twice. (One prompt nearly ended up being filled three times!) Hopefully it'll be fun.

A policy that made Matt the beneficiary. But along with the check is a letter from his dad. With his dyslexia he's unable to read so he gets Mohinder to read it to him. It brings back all the bad feelings Matt had thought he'd put behind him. Mo helps Matt deal with those feelings and but then there's the dilemma about what to do with the money.	Boudecia7

Mohinder ends up staying in DC to work for the resistance from behind the scenes and protect Molly, while Matt gets embroiled in the rebellion in New York City. Years later, the three are reunited when Mohinder is needed for an operation in New York, and Mohinder is shocked to see how Matt has been despoiled by his participation in the war. Angsty! Dear All,

Based on the poll results we’ve decided to have the Matt-A-Thon posting run from Sunday 14^th August to Saturday 20^th August.

We have a wide selection of prompts covering a variety of pairings and genres including fantasy, historical, adventure, and the always popular PWP. We’re currently working out the schedule at the moment. If you have preference for a mix of stories each day or a variety of themed days please let me know.

Hopefully it should a lot of fun for everyone :)

boudecia7 and I both have birthdays coming up soon, and in honor of how magnificently we’re both aging, we thought we’d do something slightly different this year and celebrate together by holding a summer-long fic-a-thon in three parts (well, it bleeds into autumn technically, but saying ‘summer-long’ sounded snazzier). The first part, as you can see from

boudecia7's beautifully crafted banner above, will be a Matt-a-thon in the usual tradition, which I’ll explain in a moment. :D In a few weeks, we’ll be asking for prompts for fics that include any of the characters Grunny has played in his career (yes, go ahead and include his 5-second shirtless bit in Austin Powers, if you must XD. She’ll make me do that one). In the third and final section, coming in October, we’ll ask for more varied prompts from other fandoms that don’t necessarily include Grunny, at least in canon. :P

We’ll explain the other sections in greater detail when the time comes, but for now, here are the Notes for Matt-a-thon 2011:

1) Reply to this post with a fic prompt where Matt is a main character. Any other characters are welcome, and slash, het, and gen are all welcome, as are canon and AU in any genre your heart desires. This has never come up as many times as we’ve done this, so I hate to add a caveat again, but things we won’t be writing include bestiality, child pornography, necrophilia, or fics where Matt turns out to be Sylar in disguise—mind you that last sounds a bit silly after the first three. :P Nothing against Sylar, btw; feel free to prompt for him in any capacity so long as the fic also includes Actual!Matt.

2) Writers are welcome! More than welcome, believe me. :P If you’d be interested in writing for the Matt-a-thon, please reply here or PM

boudecia7 or myself and let us know what you’d be willing to write (anything, or a particular prompt you like the look of?). If you’d like to fill a prompt anonymously, that shouldn’t be a problem either; just let us know and one of us will post the fic for you.

3) We’ll be taking prompts until July 24th, and then

boudecia7 and I will divide the prompts and you’ll get a fic! All fics will be posted on August 14th; we’ve never had so many that they weren’t all filled, but if for some reason we have an extraordinary amount this year, we reserve the right to extend the posting deadline. I don’t anticipate that happening though. There’s a happy possibility that some prompts may be filled more than once, but everyone should receive at least one fill.

4) Anon requests are very welcome, although if you leave your username we’ll reply to your comment with a link to the fic once it is complete.

5) Completed fics will be posted to the journal of either

boudecia7 or myself, and quite possibly cross-posted to appropriate comms as well. If another writer fills the prompt than I will put a link up on my journal.
6) If you have any questions, please feel free to leave them here or PM one of us. We’ll be happy to hear from you!

However it couldn't protect his legs. Leaving Matt with a long and painful recovery ahead of him. A recovery hampered by a severe case of survivor's guilt.
