I just watched a bunch of people's video's from the Expo and I feel much better about my nerves. At least I didn't scream 'Oh my god! I can't believe I'm breathing the same oxygen as Greg!' right in his face. Yikes.

These are much better because I wrote up my notes in the airport a couple of hours after the panel. Yes, I was making notes. In retrospect, the panel could almost certainly see me making notes. Oops.

The second panel was much longer than the first, hoorah! We both checked the time at the end of the first panel and it was barely thirty minutes. This one was nearly an hour long. David H Lawrence - the puppet master - wasn’t there and I didn’t realise until I was writing up my notes. The only reason I did realise was because when someone asked a question about Caitlyn everyone looked totally blank. He would’ve known! He was a total Heroes fanboy and absolutely would’ve known who she was. I feel bad I didn’t notice he was there as he was so nice. Sorry Mr Lawrence!

Question: Did Matt lose his abilities in Africa?

Answer: No, he was going on a spirit walk. I read the script and was going ‘Please don’t let it be feudal Japan!’

Greg said that when he was lying down in the desert the tortoise (Both he and Brea pointed out that Elvis is a tortoise. Thank you!) kept walking over to him because he was the only source of shade. Over the radio they kept telling Greg to push the tortoise away but it dug its claws into the ground and he couldn’t shift it. ‘Even though I’m a pretty virile, strong guy’ (wibble!) Greg reckons the animals are treated better than the actors are, ‘Shelly gets waxes and polishes and I’m like can I get a glass of water – room temperature?’

Greg asked if we’d seen the scene in the airport and the naughty among us admitted we had. He said we should watch it to see what not to do.

Question: You play a lot of good guys. Did you ever fancy playing a bad guy?

Answer: I did in the five years future episode! Who want to see me go dark? (Cheers from some of the audience) Just you wait. You get your wish. They came to me and asked if I minded going dark and I was like ‘YEAH!’ Matt’s going really dark and the interesting thing is that it’s totally justified.

Question: Why do you choose TV over theatre?

Answer: Theatre scares the bejesus out of me! On TV you can do a scene over and over until it’s right. We do it eight times and they pick the best one.

There was some joking with Brea over the amount of takes she needs. Greg said that there will be more mind control coming up and he demonstrated his new hand gesture – as in the promo pics. He didn’t say what he uses it for.

Question: Did you all want to be actors when you were kids?

Answer: I wanted to be a dentist. I was so into teeth and orthadonture. I got as far as talking to the dean of admissions at (can’t remember the name, sorry) and he looked at my GPA and literally laughed. So I decided to try acting instead – since I could obviously make people laugh.

Question: You do a lot of charity work don’t you? Would you tell us about that? (Plant! Ha)

Answer: Yeah, the epilepsy foundation. Everyone go and buy the bandfromtv album and DVD from Amazon.com – out soon! And talkaboutit.org which will be up and running soon.

He asked us to shout ‘Talk about it!’ and recorded it to be shown on the website.

Question: After the rocky second series how did you feel about series three?

Answer: Whoa now! Series two was good for Matt Parkman! I had lots of good stuff with Maury. (No mention of more scenes to come though.) Series two got cut short before they had a chance to do what they wanted.

Question: Will we find out what happened to Caitlyn?

Answer: (Blank looks until someone explains who Caitlyn is) Oh yeah. All that stuff and lose ends will be tied up.

And then, well, I took a very deep breath and asked the question.

Question: A lot of us really enjoyed the little family unit with Matt, Molly and to a certain extent Mohinder. Will we be seeing more of that?

Answer: Well Mohinder isn’t a very good wife right now. But I have scenes with him coming up. Molly has a big role in Fugitives. Because of her power, she has a powerful power. She’s finding people with powers. People with powers are being picked off. Daphne wants to use Molly to find people and Matt wants Molly to be normal.

Question: Are you going to be in Fringe?

Answer: I’m not allowed to talk about Fringe. Or that other little movie that JJ is making.

And finally, this is where I was sat. It's a picture of the back of my head! In fact it's a picture of me taking a picture of the back of my head :S At which point a crack in the space/time continuum occured which will surely one day destroy the earth.
