Cross-species loving'...

My work buddy was telling me yesterday about the "embarrassing pets" show that she'd watched. Normally it's things like dogs eating your knickers or parrots screaming obscenities, but this time it was a neutered male shih tzu dog which kept mounting and humping a neutered male cat. Apparently the owner was worried about the dog being 'ill or something.' (Hmm!) Anyway, they did a lot of tests and found nothing wrong with the dog, physically or psychologically. It just really likes humping the one cat. (The owner has several cats and dogs.) The cat didn't mind, in fact it seemed to quite enjoy it. So the presenter told the owner that since there wasn't an actual problem that it was just one of those things and to leave them to it. So in the words of my work buddy, 'they're in a happy little gay monogomous relationship.'
