(no subject)

So, I'm trying to look on the latest household disaster as a case of the alternative being worse:

If I hadn't had the plastering in the bathroom done we wouldn't have found the ceiling was about ready to fall in

If the plumber hadn't messed up putting the radiator back on - thus cutting off my heat for a month - we wouldn't have had to pull the laminate and flooring up and found that the bath has been leaking for AGES and the floorboards are rotten

If my mum hadn't just put her foot THROUGH the rotten floorboard uh... I guess I might not have realised just how close to floor collapse we were with every bath and shower?

Has anyone seen that film, The Money Pit? That's how I'm feeling about my flat right now :P
