No, because I think it would probably ruin your life. Either:
 
a) there is an afterlife and you end up getting torn out of heaven after a day in which case the rest of your life you would simply waiting to die.
b) there is an afterlife and you end up in hell, thus destroying your belief system that failed to protect you.
c) there ISN'T an afterlife and you thought there was, thus making a mockery of your belief system.
d) there isn't an afterlife which proves to you that life is utterly and completely meaningless, and it doesn't matter if you live or die.
