At the guest encounter someone asked about David Anders (yays!) and Grunny was saying that David had rung him up and during the conversation asked if he should audition with the English accent, 'I thought that was your only acting skill' was the alleged reply. He asked if we thought it was any good, we said yes :D At which point someone, possibly Phillipa, started egging Grunny on to do an English accent. He sort of said he couldn't, then he said it was just a bog standard 'British' accent, and did a pretty decent imitation of Mohinder saying 'My father's research', snerk. A little American-doing-Upper-Class-English-Accent but not at all bad.
The Petrellicest thing was; someone asked him about table reads - where the cast and crew sit around the table and read through the script? As he said they're for the director etc to see what's not working, not for the actors. They don't have them on Heroes because of the time/complexity. (although it might be a good idea, personally!)Then he laughingly said could we imagine someone having to read the narration for a Nathan and Peter scene? 'Nathan and Peter stand close. Really close. Way too close. Then they touch. A lot. And Nathan whispers so quietly nobody can hear what he's saying. Then they nod and fly away.'
