Strange Fic Query

Well I dunno, might be strange, might not. Are you ready? Here it is...

Do American organisations have First Aiders? I've seen Fire Wardens and Floor Wardens on TV but never First Aiders. What's the sitch strange people who live so far away?

Provide First Aid?
They have some (very) basic medical training so they can treat minor injuries or stabilise more serious injuries/conditions until the ambulance arrives.

Basically can I get away with having Mohinder collapse and Matt deal with it since he has some medical training?

He could have taken a course in First Aid or received some training on it, sure. In fact, I'll bet that as a cop he does have some of that knowledge.

Yes, he would have some basic emergency training--CPR mostly. Anything after that though the EMTs would be arriving on the scene quickly and handle.

Well according to the Dilbert cartoon I saw they were responsible for ensuring their floor of the building had been evacuated safely. What? Cartoons are *real*! ;)
